Your privacy is critically important to us. At The VSG LLC, we build apps on a foundation of privacy-by-design. We believe your data belongs to you—not to us, not to advertisers, and not to third parties.

This isn’t just a policy. It’s our commitment to you.

What Makes Us Different

Most apps collect, analyze, and monetize your data. We don’t. Here’s what sets The VSG apart:

• ✅ We don’t sell your data - Ever. There’s no business model based on your information
• ✅ We don’t track you - No analytics, no identifiers, no surveillance
• ✅ We don’t show ads - Our apps are ad-free, always
• ✅ We’re transparent - This policy tells you exactly what we do (and don’t do)

Privacy Across All Our Apps

This policy applies to all applications developed and published by The VSG LLC, including:

• FuelFlow - Nutrition tracking for endurance athletes
• InclineFlow - Treadmill workout tracking and export
• TilThen - Privacy-first countdown timer

Each app follows the same privacy-first principles outlined here.

What Data Our Apps Store

Our apps store data locally on your device and in your private cloud account (if you choose to enable cloud sync). This includes:

FuelFlow

• Nutrition logs (carbohydrates, sodium, water intake)
• Custom food library entries
• Activity sessions and timestamps
• Personal nutrition goals and targets
• GPS routes (stored locally, never transmitted to us)

InclineFlow

• Treadmill workout sessions and metrics
• Export preferences (file format, email settings)
• Workout history and statistics
• All data stored locally on your device

TilThen

• Countdown events (titles, dates, notes, categories)
• Widget configurations
• Notification preferences
• Sharing participants (if using cloud sync)

Critical Distinction: Where Your Data Lives

Your data lives on your device and in your private cloud account—not on our servers.

When you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in your own cloud storage account (such as iCloud, Google Drive, or similar services depending on platform). This means:

1. Your data is stored in YOUR cloud account
2. We have zero access to it
3. Your cloud provider encrypts it
4. Only you control who can see it

We are not a middleman. We don’t have servers collecting your information. We literally cannot access your data, even if we wanted to.

What We DON’T Do

Let’s be explicit about what we never do:

• ❌ We don’t collect analytics - No Firebase, no Mixpanel, no tracking
• ❌ We don’t use advertising SDKs - No ad networks, no ad identifiers
• ❌ We don’t sell your data - To anyone, for any reason, ever
• ❌ We don’t share your data - With advertisers, data brokers, or third parties
• ❌ We don’t track your behavior - No screen recordings, no heatmaps, no surveillance
• ❌ We don’t build profiles - No user profiling, no data mining
• ❌ We don’t send your data to our servers - Because we don’t have servers for user data

Third-Party Services

Our apps use only essential platform frameworks and services:

• Cloud Sync Services - For private cloud sync (your data, your account) using platform-native storage like iCloud, Google Drive, or similar
• Health & Fitness APIs (where applicable) - Stays on your device, controlled by you
• Payment Processing - Platform-native in-app purchases (your platform provider handles payment, not us)
• Email Services - For workout/data exports using your device’s native email functionality

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data You Export

Some of our apps let you export your data:

• InclineFlow: Export workout files (GPX, FIT, TCX) via email or file sharing
• FuelFlow: Export nutrition reports as text

When you export data:

• You choose where it goes (email, file sharing, cloud storage, etc.)
• We don’t receive a copy
• You control who sees it
• The export happens directly from your device

Your Data Rights & Control

Because your data lives on your device and in your private cloud account, you have complete control:

Access Your Data

• All data is accessible directly in the app
• View, edit, or review anything we’ve stored

Delete Your Data

• Delete individual entries within the app
• Delete all app data from your device settings or cloud storage settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data

Export Your Data

• Use built-in export features to save your data
• Full data portability in standard formats

Control Sharing

• Apps with sharing features (like TilThen) let you revoke access anytime
• Sharing happens via your cloud provider—we never see shared data

Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our apps do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because we don’t collect data in the first place, we’re inherently COPPA-compliant.

If you believe a child has used our app and stored data in their cloud account, you can delete it through their device settings or cloud storage management.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

For California residents:

Right to Know: We don’t collect personal information, so there’s nothing to disclose. Right to Delete: Delete data directly through the app or device settings. Right to Opt-Out: There’s nothing to opt out of—we don’t sell data. Right to Non-Discrimination: Not applicable, as we don’t monetize your data.

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

For European Union residents:

Lawful Basis: We process data based on your consent (by using the app) and contract (providing app features). Data Minimization: We only store what’s necessary for app functionality. Right to Access: Access your data anytime in the app. Right to Erasure: Delete data through app controls or device settings. Right to Portability: Export data in standard formats. Security

While we can’t access your data, we still take security seriously:

• Cloud encryption: Your data is encrypted by your cloud provider
• No third-party access: No analytics/tracking SDKs means no third-party vulnerabilities
• Local-first: Data stays on your device by default
• No central database: We don’t have a database to breach
• Open source considerations: Some of our apps are open source—audit our privacy claims yourself

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect new apps or features. When we do:

1. We’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top
2. Material changes will be noted in app update release notes
